The Ride to Glory edit should be going online later today, here's the last of our mini interviews from the trip...
1. What did it feel like not being the youngest on the trip for a change? (Reed was youngest this year) It was good.I didn't get as much shit as last years haha! Still got alot of shit though!!
2. What was your favourite spot on the trip? I didn’t really have a favourite spot. I think Hastings was the best place we went to though.
3. Tell us about your bike that got stolen, what was it like? It was the worst thing ever man! My bike was brand new as well! I couldn’t believe it, I nearly went home I just felt like being sick! But luckily the next day we went to Hastings and built up my old frame with some new parts.
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Jerez doing the biggest rail I have ever seen!!
5. Question from Vincent: What do you think about big american sausage/giraffe? I don’t know but I have heard he goes hard in the boys showers
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip. Dave Sowerby being filmer and editor was probably the hardest working guy on the trip...
1. How did RTG this year compare to last year? This year was a lot more chilled. I guess everyone knew what to expect as it was our second year on the trip and the plan was always to spend less time in the van and more time having fun.
2. Do you have any tips for eating well while on the road? Dont travel with a bunch of skint BMXers that think a 2 course meal for £9.99 from a Pizza Express is too pricey.
3. From a filmers point of view, how many attempts at a line is too many? There's never too many. I am always keen to get the shot however long it takes. But Nailz likes to test that theory so when I find myself running low on my last camera battery of 5 and I still dont have the shot maybe its time to start asking questions.
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Not so much a moment but more just the whole time in Hastings. The Source guys were great hosts, their bowl is amazing fun and there is so much more to do there. Spending a few days there was great.
5. Question from Vincent: who had the heaviest camera bag, me or you? Me hands down!
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip...
1. What happened to your ankle and how long had you been riding again before RTG? I slipped the pedal on a 13 set bars for Ricky Adam about 3 years ago now! Had a operation about 4 months later, got back on my bike had trouble for a further year or 2, in the space of those 2 years I must have been to my GP about 100 times complaining and they did nothing. Then finally got them to listen to me and I had a second op in February 2011 that was a great success! I had been riding about 3-4 weeks before ride to glory.
2. Do you like wearing fancy dress, you always volunteer for it?It was an easy challenge and a high scorer! Was much better than last year’s cave man costume!
3. What did you think of Reed? Reed the giraffe is one sick guy.
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Has to be Hastings night out watching Grant singing his own version of a classic Snoop Dogg number one hit, hahaha.
5. Question from Vincent: How many attempts did the nozza in London take? Dave Sowerby told me he had 228 clips on his camera after I had pulled it! at least 30 of those were cases and dropping just before the end.
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip. Here's what photographer Vincent Perraud had to say...
1. How does the scene in the UK compare to that in France? mmmm I'm really chauvinistic so France is absolutely the best!!! NOT!!! the scene in France is not bad but I feel like in UK it's way much bigger and people look to support more local brands, or companies and not only follow American fashion and Empire...
2. Have you been to the UK many times before, and how did RTG compare to those? Yeah for sure. I went few time, Scotland too and it was awesome! I have to admit it was not so different than the other time cause I know well the crew and it's always super fun... I’m really stoked to be on many BSD trips aha!!
3. What did you think of the scene in Hull? mmmmmm is it not the worst city in UK??? aha except the bike stolen the city was not that bad, all the locals were super nice and there is a bunch of stuff to ride... but I can't deal with the English weather...
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Reed busy getting high?? aha not, the whole trip was super good (except the weather) nobody gets hurt and looks to have fun... and technically we won the RTG 2011!! ahaha so all was good!!
5. Question from Jersey: What is your favourite Borat quote? Whaaaaaaaaaaat???? not gooooood for me...
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip...
1. Was this your first trip to the UK? Charles Bubba Knowche, belee dar.
2. What did you think of the food over here? Food was amazing! I didn't really know what to expect at first, but I had heard the food was shit over here. I was immediately introduced to chippys, sausage, and deep fried everything accompanied by a warm bottle of Buckfast.
3. Any other comments about the UK you'd like to share? The UK would be better than America if it were sunny more than twice a month! It's not a pure oven in here by the way...
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Zoots with Niz, Cruising with Chaz and Crab meat, every night Grant paid for drinks, London after party with 3000 quid behind the bar... Too many good times, I mean this was the start of my Anti-Bummer Summer!
5. Question from Vincent: why American guys are so loud? We're just always chained to the hyphe! ...
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip...
1. How do you feel about being the other driver on the trip? it means you can’t drink as much through the day!
2. What did you think of the challenges this year? I heard they scaled it down this year because the Nike team was scared? Face tattoos should be on it next year like King of the Road!
3. Where would you like to go on Ride to Glory that you haven't been already? Some trails would be nice haha, too much street.
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? Getting my face pulled off by the most howling bird ever in Essex... and the after party on Brick Lane, free bar was amazing!
5. Question from Vincent: Why girls from Essex are full of love with you ?? hahaha, I dont know if we can call that love, I guess they must have been bored of their husbands...
On the lead up to the Ride to Glory edits going online next week, each day we'll be posting up mini interviews with everyone who was on the trip...
1. How many times have you been on Ride to Glory now? This was my third year, just one off Phelan's, haha.
2. What was different this time compared to previous years? Grant was a little less tense, plus we had a different guest. Reed Stark blitzed everything in his path, he did four pegs proud.
3. What would you have done differently this year if you could do it again? I would have done myself a favour and pulled shit first go instead of working my knee so much!
4. What was your most memorable moment of Ride to Glory? The banter, always a laugh going on in the BSD team, it feels more like a lads holiday that a comp, haha!
5. How did you feel about doing the 25 stair rail? I felt like I was getting off with someone’s girlfriend. It was only because of the challenge to do a 25 stair that I did it, give the guy who did it first credit....
This year myself and Jordan Gosling decided to bring back the KGB Jam. People came from all over Scotland and the weather held out for an awesome day. Everyone has a story about a friend that they have seen grow up through riding, this story is no different. I remember back when I was 14 going down to the local skatepark (Hickings lane) in Stabbo and seeing this one kid who would come down but was always too scared to ride, fast forward almost ten years and now I'd like to introduce to you to Richard Plummer . Rick's possibly the most self critical person I know ha!! his riding is so enjoyable to watch and if a trick isn't gunna be the best it can then Rick won't try it all, he flies around on his bike goin higher than anyone, snappin' in tables harder than anyone and couldnt take his hands further off his bike if he tried! Rick recently just got a TrailOrPark' frame, big thanks to Grant at BSD! I'm so pumped to see him so stoked on ridin' and killin' it, Keep on shreddin youth! - Niki...

The first stop of the day was at the Hastings concrete park to get warmed up, we didn't stay there too long before meeting with our guides for the day and heading to Bexhill racetrack to get in a few motos. Just as we turned up at an amazing spot the wind started to howl and the rain started. So while we waited for the weather to change we decided to go and tick some non riding challenges off. From donuts to tattoos to the high grind challenge we got a few done only to return to where we'd left our bikes to find that Kriss' brand new bike had been stolen. After searching for it for hours with no luck we got on the road to our distributor Snap to get a new bike sorted out for the wee crab. After a long drive we were enjoying a few 4am drinks in Hastings...
The next morning we got a new bike built for Kriss and finally got back to filming, more news here soon. Check out the photos below...

Nailz took first slam of the day after missing his front peg on a rail and grazing his face up, after that Jersey and Reed both took some hard slams as well, the injury count is high already. We ended the night riding and chilling at a secret warehouse, thanks to all the locals for a rad day...

That's it, Megatour is over as of a few hours ago ,the riding, weather and partying in Texas has been great. The last two days in Austin were probably the best of the trip with a great amount of good street getting filmed plus a good session at T1 and Darryl Nau's Megatour party. Most of us are flying home today in varying amounts of pain, there will be more trip coverage on here soon.
The last couple of days have been spent in Austin riding all sorts of different terrain from Stew Johnsons backyard ramp to a crazy glass filled ditch. Yesterday Mike Taylor got back on his bike after deciding injuries weren't enough to stop him from riding and Chris Brown introduced everyone to his unique style of riding. We are leaving now for another sunny day of street riding and later tonight in Austin is the Megatour party organised by Darryl Nau, be there if you can.
This morning after we saw just how bad Jersey's foot was we realised that it was unlikely he'd be riding anytime soon, so the decision was taken to fly in Chris Brown from Los Angeles as backup. After calling Chris and arranging his flight we met with Kareem Williams who took us to downtown Dallas however we were plagued by over zealous security guards at every spot and ended up getting escorted out of the city by the police, Austin was our next stop.
Twelve hours after calling Chris we picked him up at Austin airport off a direct flight from LAX. Hopefully tomorrow goes a little smoother.
We spent the day street riding in Dallas with Kareem Williams as our guide. The day didn't start off too well what with us getting kicked off a college campus then with Jersey busting his ankle at a hefty ledge spot. However later on things picked up and some good footage was filmed. We decided to stay here for another night as there is still a lot we want to do.
Today all the teams met up at Allen skatepark in Dallas to film the introductions and ride the amazing concrete park there, it was really busy so some crews left early however we decided to go and eat then come back at night to ride. Tomorrow we're meeting with Kareem Williams who's going to take us to some spots in the Dallas area.
Check the Props website for bike checks, Anto and Kriss' ones are already online...

After two solid months of hard work, the new Hall 2 in Unit 23 skatepark is open to the public. Here are some photos of the park by it's designer Dave Sowerby, well done to him and the whole crew at Unit 23 for all their hard work on another amazing addition to an already exceptional place...
Reed Stark is back in Minnesota after two weeks out in California filming with Malouf. things took a turn for the worse at the end of the trip when Reed ended up in the E.R.. Here's the word from Tony Malouf...
"Yesterday was pretty shitty. We started early for once and headed to some trails. Everyone was getting thru the set and having a blast. Once I started filming Reed was doing some fire lines thru the set and slipped up on a turndown. Some how he blew a massive hole in his knee and needed to get stitched up. Really no big deal... But waiting 7 hours in the El Cajon Emergency Room was one of the wildest experiences ever. We met every type of kook. Everything from 16 year old girls who had been battered to 45 year old men dressed as women. Besides the point Reed is ok. He'll be riding in no time and will have plenty of time to get back in the swing of things before Mega Tour"
In the meantime try and spot Reed in this Team Dilly edit...
Jason Teet is still at it in Vancouver check out these photos of him for now and look out for a new edit of him soon.
Some news from Jeff Dowhen...
"Been chilling real hard lately with a torn MCL in my right knee. Been off the steed for 2 months and have another week or so to go before I can start cruising again. All I have to say is goddamnit this sucks but at least its in winter. I just checked another semester off the list in my never-ending quest for a college diploma.
New Years was rad, hungout at Jeff K's and witnessed one of my TM's getting a little too loose and forgetting about gravity..."
2010 was Tony's busiest year so far, what with constantly travelling, filming, putting out edits and his new role as the BSD US team manager he was always on the go. That aside he still made sure he found the time to ride and even get filmed himself...
"I've been in California for about a month now. I spent New Years Eve with Chris Brown. The very next day Reed Stark flew into LAX. Now we're in San Diego riding and filming with all the new SD residents. Chris Brown unfortunately couldn't tag along as he's currently in Las Vegas on an ODI trip. More news soon and edits in a few weeks. YEZZZIR!..."
Angie Marino is in the UK again, this time on a surprise visit. The new Ghetto fork V2 is built with super strong investment cast dropouts which removes the need for welding in such a critical stress area.

The bad weather is definitely here for the rest of the year now, here's an aptly named Shit Weather edit from a few months back with Malouf, Markese and a pre-BSD Reed Stark...
Matt Markese comes out of Illinois. You can find his offensive words of wisdom on TheGullyFactory.com or see him around the Chicago suburbs riding all over round rails. Aside from having a huge caring heart, Markese has been known to get Matt Mar-Steamed about the littlest things. But thats why we love him. Don't be surprised to see him near you shouting out BSD real soon...
We just got the new copy of Yeah Zine in the mail today, there are some cool articles from Angie's extended Euro vacation in it. To keep up with Angie and crew add them on Facebook here or check out their website here...

Introducing our latest US team member, Reed Stark. Check out the photos below for what happened to Reed's teeth after mixing the infamous 4loko drink with bike riding...
Malouf filmed this edit just before the dental incident, here's what he had to say about Reed "Reed Stark, from Minnesota is only 18. He is such a hyper little bastard. He can shred all day. And party all night. The kid feels more comfortable on rails then I do in my bed. And he ain't scared to get shaken up. Reed filmed this in two days and you can expect to see more from him in the near future"
We know that a lot of you were extremely disappointed by this practical joke, so we have decided that instead of giving Sean a new frame we are going to give it away instead, it's a brand new 20.8" chrome Forever. All you need to do is go on the BSD facebook page and tell us why you deserve it instead of Sean, the winner will be picked next Thursday...
Both Reed Stark and Jeff Dowhen are in this Sun edit that by Malouf, check it out...
As mentioned yesterday, Vincent Perraud is going to be shooting photos with Anto Lille again soon. In the meantime here are a few short edits of Anto from the beginning of this year, and for those wondering the frame is still in the works...
Vincent Perraud is one of a few photographers that we love to work with, this year we spent a few weeks in France with him on the Soulatour where he was subjected to Borat quotes daily by Jersey and Nailz. Lots of changes are happening for BSD in the USA, first of all we would like to announce the appointment of Tony Malouf as our U.S. team manager. Tony has been riding for BSD for the last two years and has proven himself to be a creative and motivated guy. He's a great rider, handy behind the camera and has the get up and go needed to be a good team manager.
We also want to welcome three new additions to our U.S. team, Chris Brown, Jeff Dowhen and Matt Markese.
Chris Brown, a street rider from Los Angeles recently left Volume to ride for BSD. When asked about his team move he drawled: "I'm excited, BSD got me goin in style, we bout to do big things."
Milwaukee's Jeff Dowhen is team mates with Malouf on the Sun rims team, he is also sponsored by Madera and is known at times to have a hella sick moustache. Jeff said: "I'm really excited to be riding for BSD, let's party!"
BSD is Matt Markese's first official sponsor, here's what he had to say about the upcoming road trip for the new team: "It's super sick, Tony is taking care of everyone and I'm stoked to go on this trip. I love the BSD products and my new bike is dope."

As mentioned before, Angie Marino fractured her wrist not long before she was leaving the UK for the Masters in Germany. Regardless, like a true professional, she still planned to ride. Here's a little update we got from her last week on what happened next...
Heyo, a little update I guess.. I flew to the masters last Tuesday, they let us ride early and on Wednesday I pretty much got stuck in a turndown over one of the boxes and my knee punched the ground, ripped off my skin about four inches down to the bone and popped a bursa sac in the knee. The popped bursa sac infected my knee and part of my shin and I had to get surgery. I could barely walk so there was no way I was going to be able to ride in the contest. At first I had four stitches and now I have about 10.. they had me judge the girls class since I couldn't ride on Saturday morning. Straight after judging I had to get rushed to the hospital to have surgery. I'm back in England now and probably not riding for at least three weeks :(
Check out these pics of Aussie BSD team rider Thomas Fordyce. Thomas has just made the move to Australia's BMX mecca aka Melbourne where he won best trick at the Slay the Ramps soiree which was held in a nightclub last night.
Photos by Doug Taylor.

When we were on the Soulatour in France we hooked up with new Aussie BSD rider Ren McQueen who just happened to be in Paris on the same day as us. Ren is also part of the Strictly BMX family. Here's what he had to say about his overseas experience...
Last month my girlfriend and I went on a trip to Paris, London and Scotland. Seeing as I only recently got put on BSD, this seemed like a good time to try and catch up with Grant. It worked out that the first day I was in Paris the Soul bmx street jam was on, so we met up with the BSD team there .The following day we met up again and went on a street mission that lasted well into the night. From there, Grant and the team were off touring France, while I did some sight seeing and got on a train to London. After a quick train ride I was in London. I didn’t even get my bike out of the bag until we had the rental car and headed to Romford skatepark, a place I have always wanted to ride. It's so much fun but you wouldn’t want to crash there, old cheese grater like concrete. After an afternoon of riding Rom, we drove 7 hours to Glasgow to ride the UKs largest indoor park, Unit 23. I wish I had had more than three days to ride it and thanks to Chick for letting me in free of charge. The holiday was amazing, I met some awesome people and it was good to put a face to some of the names. Thanks to Grant and the rest of the team for the riding and the good times, hopefully we'll catch up again soon.
Ren

We're just back from the Nike 6.0 BCN BMX Pro contest in Barcelona. The weather was scorching as usual for this time of year. Kriss Kyle was one of the forty riders taking part, check him out in this Nike edit and the qualifiers edit from Ride US. On Saturday night after the contest there was a secret screening of the videos from the Standby Barcelona contest that took place over the last week in the city, one of the teams went away with 10,000 Euros. For the rest of us, the celebrations consisted of drinking 1 Euro beers on the street at Place de Catalunya. On Sunday the finals were rained off halfway through, however as the course dried up there was a sick flatland demo from the likes of Jess Puente, Matthias Dandois and the crew from Japan. Here are a few random snaps from the weekend...
The Kriss Kyle photo was voted #1 for the cover of the Soulatour issue of Soul magazine which will be on sale in a couple of weeks time. Many thanks to everyone who voted for us...
Schaumburg park mega sesh is the latest from the Gully Factory's Clouse Cellar edits for Fuel TV, Malouf said these are going to be weekly from now on. Both Malouf and Matt Markese are in this one...
Lastly here's Kriss' soundcheck from the Ride UK site
BSD were one of four teams on Soul magazine's Soulatour, the others were DUB, Wethepeople and Federal. Each team filmed an edit for the DVD that's free with the next issue, available later this month. There's currently a competition on the Soul website to vote for your favourite magazine cover, vote for BSD and the sick Kriss Kyle curved wall photo.
The Nike 6.0 BCN BMX pro contest is on in Barcelona this weekend on a specially constructed ramp set up at the beach. Kriss Kyle is one of the forty riders on the invite list for the pro comp, looks like it's gonna be a belter of a weekend. Hopefully see you there...
We are pleased to announce our latest team member, UK legend Craig Campbell. For those of you that don't know Craig he is arguably the most cutting edge UK rider from the 1980s. Craig was mainly known as a vert rider but was one of the first guys progressing street and mini-ramp riding, responsible for inventing tricks such as nosepicks on vert, peg grinds and the 540 wallride. We hooked him up with a new bike consisting of BSD and Primo parts with the help of Stu Dawkins at Seventies Look out for more news on Craig soon...
Dig issue 77 hit the shelves a few days back, Kriss and Tony both have photos in the coverage from the Soulardouzant jam we attended in Paris a few weeks ago. Click below to have a peek at the magazine....
We've been waiting a few weeks for this edit of Kriss to go online, finally here it is, in the words of Malouf "Here is an edit I made while I was over in Scotland last month. Kriss Kyle is a little shit. But thats what I love about him. Also featuring some Clips of BIGLou. And some Classic tracks off Chronic 2001. Might have to watch this twice to realize how really buck the last clip is. Enjoy!" from The Gully Factory
Kriss Kyle has been living with Si Gibb up in Aberdeen since they got back from France. Check out this edit the guys from Tilt BMX filmed yesterday in sunny Aberdoom...
The Gully crew were at Woodward not so long ago. Inbetween wreaking havoc and keeping certain X Games superstars up way past their bedtime they actually got some riding done. Here's a look at how they were living with the "Breakfast at the Playground" montage. Filmed and edited by Jeff Wescott....
After over a month on this side of the Atlantic, Tony Malouf is finally back home in Chicago. He's made a trip re-cap with some photos on the Gully Factory, check it before the constant G-updates shift it too far down....
Here's another view of last weekend's 20twenty jam courtesy of Mitchel Curry at Tilt BMX. Incase you were wondering Mutiny's Matt Roe broke his foot trying that massive handplant over the wall into the bowl...
Here's some more Soul jam footage, this time from later in the day at "The Club" which is an old indoor swimming pool in Paris. Filmed and edited by Nico Dumait...
Last weekend some of the BSD crew were at the 20twenty jam in Aberdeen and as usual had a total blast. Kriss Kyle won best trick with a flair over the jump box and Si Gibb showed everyone that he is far from over. Alex from Nearly BMX got the first edit up, check it out below...
Here are a couple of short edits of Barcelona's Julien Inorreta. Click the pic below for the first one and click here for the next...
We are just leaving for the annual 20twenty jam in Aberdeen, Scotland this weekend and it sounds like it's going to be a great day, hopefully we'll see you there for some high zoot action. Also 20twenty has a new website, check it out here...
We're finally back at the BSD HQ after a heavy month of touring through the UK and France. Here's a link to the amazing Soulardouzant jam video from Paris we were at a few weeks ago...
It's been a long week since we were
in Paris for the Soulardouzant jam. That day was so good riding
around the city with around 200 riders to spots which were
specially adapted by the Soul team. After that was done we
picked up Fred Borel and Vincent Perraud then headed to Toulouse
for the next four days mainly to ride the amazing La
Source trails then some street followed by going to the
bars looking for Antony Lille. We’re now in the sunny
city of Montpellier and everyone is pretty wrecked after a
real long day of riding, look out for another update soon...
Jersey and Nailz out in Spain shredding the streets of Barcelona with a guest appearance by the mad basque-tard Julien Innoreta, thanks to Pradas from Devon BMX for filming and editing this...
OK I know we're late with these video links but they're too good to pass up. After dropping Malouf in Liverpool to stay with the DUB guys for a week he ended up getting on the DUB team, here's the Gully Factory/DUB edit they filmed last week.
BSD and Unit 23 recently had a feature on the Transworld sports show on Sky Sports. Check out the interviews here with Grant Smith, Chick Mailey and Chaz Mailey. It also features some really old Bob Haro footage
Angie Marino and Tony are in Glasgow right now, we're heading to London on Thursday en route to the Soul magazine Soulardouzant jam in Paris on Saturday. After that we're going on a week long trip round France to film for the Soul DVD. Sick times for sure....
What do you get if you cross Kriss Kyle with duct tape, the Unit 23 bowl and a Sony Vivaz HD phone? Probably this crazy footage from midway through the RTG trip last week, there's some messing around on the London streets here too...
We headed to London for the final three days of Ride to Glory. The first of those days we hooked up with BMX legend Craig Campbell in Tottenham and rode street late into the night. The next day consisted of pedalling from East to West London and back again in between meeting up with Joe Fox and James Hitchcox. Things started to get desperate on Saturday as we still had some big challenges to tick off, a quick visit to Shoreditch got Kriss inked up but we still had the jump the van off the kicker challenge to do. Driving through the centre of London is never a good idea especially in the middle of a huge post election protest but it was good fun blasting the Sunshine soundtrack out of the van freaking out the crowd, plus Steve 'Swampy' Banners felt right at home amongst all the crusties. We finally found a garage roof way out west and Nailz manned up and did the van jump. Check out a few photos here...
After a gruelling
and fun week of crazy challenges, sleepless nights and thousands
of miles of driving, BSD has won Ride to Glory 2010. Everyone
on the team played their part, from tattoos and tits to
amazing tricks the guys really did BSD proud. Watch out
for some photos tomorrow and the RTG DVD which comes out
with the July issue of Ride
UK.
Ride to Glory finishes tomorrow
and we still have a ton of stuff to do. We're now in London
and need to head out early tomorrow if we have any chance.
One of the challenges that I plan to get ticked off tonight
is to paint someone’s bike, I wonder who’ll be
riding a pink frame tomorrow?
As you probably know we’re on the Ride to Glory tour
this week, so far we’ve ridden Liverpool, Southport,
Warrington, Sheffield and Leeds. It’s now 3am on Tuesday
and we've just arrived in Edinburgh, the injury and lack of
sleep toll is pretty high but we're currently laid back in
Dave Sowerby's house supping on Gin N Juice.
Also was Nikki Croft spotted in the Unit 23 shop buying High
Lander bars? Sure seems that way...
Yesterday we forgot
we were supposed to be on Ride to Glory and went to the
Dub Jam in liverpool instead. A great day was had cruising
the streets in a crew of 200 riders stopping cars and getting
chased by police in helicopters. Grant tried to sabotage
the Primo team by sending Tony Neyer over the bars into
incoming traffic however it didn't work. The Relentless
team are just about to be lost in Glasgow looking for the
Mitchell rail, they shouldn't have asked usfor the postcode,
should they?...
Despite hassles
with immigration at Heathrow airport, Tony Malouf finally
made it into the UK today. Bikes are being built with new
parts, the vans are getting packed up and we head off to
Liverpool tomorrow for the beginning of Ride
to Glory 2010. Keep checking
back here for daily updates from the road...
What a weekend, the TWC
jam was on at Unit
23 on Saturday. As usual Kriss Kyle killed the park and
ended up with 1st place in the park jam, check the video below
for some new moves from 'Wee Barra'. The Yorkshire Ripper
Paul Chapman narrowly avoided killing himself for 1st place
in the bowl comp.
Jersey and Nailz are out in Barcelona
filming an edit with Pradas.
They rode at Jam Session in Sant Quirze del Valles yesterday
and managed to get 1st and 3rd place. BSD riders were cleaning
up all over Europe this weekend!
Malouf will be over here later this
week for the beginning of Ride
to Glory. Not long after that's done most of the team
will be on a road trip that'll be headed over to Paris for
the Soulardouzant street
jam. More news on both of those trips later this week...
The latest Dans
CompVital BMX
gear guide features Tony Malouf giving a run down of the
specs of the Forever frame as well as doing some riding,
click it below...
Krafty has recently
picked up Jason Teet to ride for BSD. Here are some blurry
pics of him riding chainless at home in Vancouver. Check
what he had to say...
"Had some issues with the old bike as of late,
past weekend I broke bolt for rear eclat hub and couldn't
source new one. I was so bummed and really needed
to go roll so I put an old front wheel on the back broke
the chain off and pumped the bowl. It worked for the
sunday evening bowl sesh I guess. My Irish bro John
Wells even was keen enough to snap these included iPhone
shots of some hip boost. I know they're not nice quality
but just a sesh, thought you might dig. He did alright
with the timing considering the shit delay of the cam"
Yorkshire madman Paul Chapman is
currently up in Scotland building another new indoor park,
here are some photos of him that Dave Sowerby took at the
beginning of construction...
It's gonna be
a hell of a summer at Unit
23 this year. They have a massive plot of land across
from the park, some heavy machinery and are busy building
trails right now. Check out the progress on their
blog and some photos of Kriss Kyle, Chaz Mailey and
Lewis Jennings' bowl session last night.
Tony Malouf has just been bumped
up to the ODI pro team, click below for an edit from his trip
to California last week. Not long now until he hits the UK
shores again...
Ride to Glory is on again and this
year BSD is on it. Mike 'Jersey' Taylor, Kriss Kyle, Tony
Malouf, Chaz Mailey and Nailz will all be on the week long
roadtrip starting at Rampworx in Liverpool on 30th April,
more news on this as and when we get it.
Here's a downloadable Vans wallpaper
of Anto Lille which is another angle of the photo from our
new print advert. As always Vincent Perraud does a great job.
Tony Malouf, Matt Markese and the
blackneck Gully dogs have just dropped another sick edit,
check out Markese's sick rail ride at the end. Also Malouf
is featured in the new ODI LA mixtape... p.s. Happy 21st Tony!!!
Our Spanish distro Rapit BMX has
just picked up street monster Julien Inorreta to ride for
BSD. He'll be filming with Jersey and Nailz in Barca later
this month but for now you'll have to make do with this crazy
video of him from a year
ago>>
Anto Lille is going to be on the
injured list most of the summer this year, not to worry though
he is at work on his new frame design and doing some graphics
for BSD. Here's an interview with him in the new Landscape
magazine...
Here's a short Warrington
Outlaws edit with Nailz slingin' like mad in it. Jersey
and Nailz will both be riding at the Dub
Jam tomorrow at Liverpool Rampworx skatepark in England.
Tony Malouf and the rest of the
Gully
crew are headed out to Woodward in Pennsylvania next week.
Tony sent me this picture of Gullymeister Jeff Wescott riding
a BSD Forever at Circus skatepark with what BMX
Plus describe as a precision wallslap!
As we mentioned a few weeks ago,
Angie Marino was riding at the girls weekend at Ray's
MTB park. Here are a few pictures of her and she's also
is in this
video from RideBMX.com along with Nina Buitrago and a

Lille was in the South of France on the way to Malaga
in Spain yesterday when he fell and snapped his ankle falling
from a huge wallride. The photo is pretty gruesome so beware.

Get well soon Anto...
