Frame... |
| 05 September 08 |
We finally got our first batch
of the new BSD 'Forever' frames
in this week. Its taken a lot of work to get the frame ready
but its so worth it seeing the final result. The frames
look great and all reports from the team and the lucky first
owners are that it rides great too. Check out some photos
of the Forever frame and some of the first setup frames
that have been spotted below. For the full spec on the Forever
frame you can check it out in the product
pages>> |

a tapered leg and an integrated headset race. The Superlite
Sprockets come in new colours and there is a new 29
tooth option if you want to try out something in between
28-10 and 30-10 gearing. Ideal! All the info about the forks
and sprockets can be found in the
product pages too....

| DSAB Livi
Jam report |
| 06 August 08 |
Sunburn at a Livi Jam! Surely
not! Yes that's right, the Livingston skatepark jam went
off last Saturday, organised by the now
infamous DSAB crew, and some how they even managed to
get the sun to come out! Good job guys. With comp titles
such as 'best trick bars backwards' and 'best trick in the
buff' and with Capn Colin at the helm you know its not going
to be your average BMX jam . The emphasis was definitely
on fun and certainly not on tailwhips. The days highlights
included, Dave(Paul) the Sword killing the wall ride with
fufanus and abubacas on a wall with a 20ft drop on the other
side!, BSD's Grant Smith and Blantyre local Skitzo battling
it out for highest air measured on the boaby-o-meter in
the big bowl and the appearance of Capn Colin in a thong!
All in all it was a great turn out and everyone had a fun
day. Congrats to the DSAB team for putting on a superb jam
and I know we are all looking forward to see what they will
have in store for us next year.... |

| Dave Sowerby
Broken |
| 05 August 08 |
Dave is off the bike for a couple
of months after breaking his ankle trying a fence gap at
Perth skatepark. While he's not riding expect some video
edits to appear in the coming weeks including an edit of
Dave riding at his local park in Edinburgh and a web edit
going on the Dig site featuring the BSD summer trip in Scotland
that will coincide with the mag article. Get well soon Dave! |

| Vans at OT |
| 16 July 08 |
Dave Sowerby just sent over a
web edit of the Vans team riding TransgressionPark in Edinburgh.
Dave was lucky enough to get the chance to film them on
Monday night riding the park that he designed and the Edinburgh
locals built. Chase Hawk, Dylan Smith, Sean Sexton, Niki
Croft, Ben Hennon and Baz Keep were just a few of the riders
in attendance for the first day of the Vans 'Off The Wall
BMX tour'. Check out Dave's
edit here >> |

| Blazin' Squad... |
| 15 June 08 |
We're in Glasgow and just about
to start day 5 of our Scottish summer tour. So far we've
ridden Livingston, Edinburgh, Penicuik, Aberdeen, Dundee
and Dumbarton and the riding has been insane. Even though
we're only on day 5 Kriss Kyle has done about 3 months worth
of riding, He just doesnt stop. Chaz
has been propositioned by girls and boys and the French
Warrington contingent has shut down the Glasgow streets.
Here are a few video grabs of Anto, Kriss and Chaz... wait
'til you see the footage...

| Ride to Glory... |
| 10 June 08 |
Dave Sowerby just got back from
Ride UK BMX
Mags 'Ride to Glory' road trip with Proper
Bikes. The trip started at Unit23
skatepark and then Proper headed East to session at
Transgression
Park in Edinburgh and Penicuik skatepark. On their way
down south to the finish line in Hastings they were arrested
trying to ride a full pipe in an M.O.D facility, redecorated
countless passing cars in mayonnaise and ketchup, discovered
a few shocking truths about Marv and drove the van through
team Volumes height poles (oops!) Check out a few screen
grabs and photos Dave sent over and look out for the full
story and cover mounted DVD in Augusts Ride Mag... |
|
|
There's no rest for Dave though
as the BSD roadtrip around Scotland kicks of tomorrow in
Edinburgh (Weds 10th June) with the arrival of Julien Leyreloup,
Antony Lille and Vincent Perraud. Hope to see you at a spot
around Scotland during the coming week and keep an eye on
the site for updates during the trip. Reet! |
